How do I set up my child's iPad?

Sign in at yeparoo.app/app and add your child. On your child's page, choose Set up an iPad to get a code. Open Yeparoo on the iPad, choose that it is your child's iPad, and enter the code within 15 minutes.

Can children share an iPad?

Yes. Every iPad you pair shows all your children, and asks who is watching when there is more than one. You can give each child a 4-digit PIN so a younger child cannot open an older child's profile.

What does protection do?

When protection is on for any of your children, every iPad in your family uses Apple's parental controls and a filter so YouTube only plays inside Yeparoo, not in Safari or other apps. The first time, the iPad asks a parent to approve it with their Apple ID. If protection is turned off on an iPad, you get a notification.

How do requests work?

Your child can ask for a channel from the iPad. You get a notification in the Yeparoo iPhone app, or an email if you do not use it, and you approve or decline it from your child's page.

How do I see what they watched?

Your child's page shows the last 7 days at a glance. Watch history lists every video, day by day, for the last two weeks.

How do I remove a lost iPad?

On any of your children's pages, find the iPad and choose Remove. It is signed out the next time it connects.

How do I add another parent?

Open Family and parents, then invite them by email. They get a link to join and can look after every child in the family.

How do I delete our data?

Email hello@yeparoo.app from the address you sign in with. We delete your family, your children's profiles and their history within 30 days.
